Work is underway on a new public exhibition in the streets of Barcelona. Together with Jordae and our friend VADR we will all do our part to install over 100 new paintings into these grey barren streets. The inauguration will take place in roughly one month. More details and me finishing this painting and a whole bunch of others coming soon.

I was painting at DJs Contra La Fam (DJs Against Hunger) yesterday at the old Encants Market in Barcelona. Fun times with fun people and all the money raised was for a good cause. All the panels painted by all the artists will be auctioned off in a few weeks to benefit the various causes supported by this festival. If you are interested in anything email: marc@vaquerosdebarcelona.org

“Si Ves Algo Di Algo” (If You See Something Say Something) is the phrase made infamous by the NYC transit authority, aka the MTA. To the MTA that means spy on your neighbor and report everything and anyone you suspect may be a terrorist or a threat to the security of the norm. I prefer to see the meaning of that phrase that as a reminder to us to keep our eyes open and react to and interact with our evironments in positive ways. Taking back a sinister and Big Brother-esque phrase and turning it into something that speaks to people as a positive thing rather than a negative.
