Del Mural’ Art expo

A video of the recent Del Mural’ Art exhibition. I highly recommend turning the sound off. Most annoying music. Ever.

Never Judge…?

Tomorrow, Thursday Dec. 2nd 6-9pm, I’ll be taking part in a group show at StolenSpace Gallery in London. The show,  “Never Judge…?”, is being put on in collaboration with Penguin Books and each artist created a unique book cover for the show. The list of artists is enormous. You can see it by clicking on the gallery link. ‘Cat in the Hat’ was the very first book I ever read.

I also was asked a few months ago by Penguin Books to recreate the book cover of Herman Hesse’s “Steppenwolf” as part of their new Penguin Essentials Collection. It’s a classic book and an incredible opportunity I couldn’t say no to. StolenSpace and Penguin will be releasing an edition of 10 signed giclee prints of the cover I created. If you can’t get one of the prints (or even if you can) you should pick up a copy of the book when it is released in April 2011.

We Love Colors exhibition

This Thursday, November 4th, I’ll be taking part in a group exhibition in Barcelona based on the simple theme of Color. “We Love Colors” was curated by Andrea from BToy. The other artists include: Kenor, Sakristan, Kafre, Zosen, Ilia Mayer, Joaquin Jara, Ovni, Hombre López, Justin Case & Olivia, ZEZ608, Txemy, BToy, and myself.

Each of us was given the same size canvas to paint on (or do whatever we wanted to it) and also had to provide a text about our own thoughts or theory on color. Photos of all that soon, or better yet come down to check out the show yourself.

Opening Thursday, November 4th at 19:30h. The show will be up through November 26th.
