Look what shows up at 0:48 and again throughout the whole atrocity of a video. Who can spot both my pieces?
Thanks to Aryz for spotting this one.
’10 Days’ is a study of news headlines taken from the BBC News Online between May 6-15th, 2009.
The painting is acrylic paint on two wooden panels, in total measuring 234x170cm.
The painting was created during a residency at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, Austria. Since the process behind the painting is really what the piece is about this time lapse video fills in what seeing the painting alone simply can’t.
I’m happy to be able to finally present the video and have the painting installed outdoors at the MuseumQuartier this Friday, Nov. 20th.
To accompany this we’ll be finding some visible places to project the video around the city leading up to the opening. Keep your eyes open.
